Life can be overwhelming, but you don't have to face it alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, or navigating a major life transition, I believe healing is possible. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.

I am Wilisha "Wish" Hardeway, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I). I hold a Master's degree in School Counseling and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Psychology. My experience spans schools, private practice, and foster care, allowing me to understand the unique challenges individuals and families face across every stage of life.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, tailoring treatment to meet each client's unique needs and goals. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strengths-Based Counseling to help clients build resilience, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward healing.

My specialty areas include:

- Anxiety and chronic stress

- Depression and mood disorders

- ADHD and executive functioning challenges

- Trauma and PTSD

- Grief, bereavement, and life transitions

- Self-esteem and confidence building

- Relationship and communication concerns

- Emotional regulation and anger management

- Women's mental health

- Foster care, adoption, and family transitions

- Parenting support

- School-related concerns, behavioral challenges, and academic stress

- Substance use concerns and recovery support

- Personal growth, resilience, and wellness

Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy is a partnership built on trust, authenticity, and respect. My role is not to tell you how to live your life but to help you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop practical tools that allow you to thrive long after therapy ends.

Taking the first step toward counseling can feel intimidating, but it is also one of the greatest investments you can make in yourself. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, hope, and lasting transformation.

Hi, I’m Sara! Originally from Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida, I’ve called Texas home for the past 9 years. As a bilingual counselor, I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults. When we work together, it’s my goal to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, whether that means talking things through, getting creative, or finding a little humor along the way.

My path to counseling was shaped by witnessing firsthand the impact that unaddressed trauma can have on individuals and families. That experience inspired me to pursue a career where I could support others through difficult experiences and remind them that they don’t have to navigate those experiences alone. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2022 and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University–San Antonio in 2025.

Through my two years of experience working with children and young adults, I’ve learned that building trust is at the heart of a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to meet each client where they’re at and adapt our work to what feels most helpful for the client. My approach is flexible and may include CBT, DBT-informed mindfulness techniques, play-based activities, or simply having a conversation about what is going on in life. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I enjoy finding what works best for each individual.

Outside of counseling, you can usually find me reading a good book, spending time with my family’s dog, or exploring San Antonio in search of a new coffee shop to try.

Whether she is helping you decode everyday chaos, tackling a massive life pivot, or deep-diving into childhood trauma, she blends deep clinical expertise with real-world empathy. By utilizing proven tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), she helps you untangle messy thoughts, build solid coping strategies, and make confident, independent choices.
